I am running the Birmingham International Marathon in October 2017 this year and trying to raise at least £500 for Cardiomyopathy UK.

My cousin Maddy was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and severe heart failure in November 2016 without any prior warning. She faced her illness with immense bravery and always stayed hopeful of getting better. 

She sadly died on August 7th 2017. I miss her very much.

She was a precious gift to all who knew and loved her. She is forever missed will always be remembered.

In her memory I am trying to raise as much money as I can for the Cardiomyopathy Charity.

I am going to attempt to run the Marathon in under 4 hours 30.
